ICDS

The Department stands for improvement of nutrition and health status as well as laying foundation for proper psychological, physical and social development of children below the age of six years.

In order to improve the health and nutritional status of children, Non-Formal Pre-School Educational and Supplementary nutrition foods were being given in the Aganwadi Centers among children below the age of six years and Pregnant and lactating mothers. Regular health check-up and immunization of the beneficiaries being done in co-ordination with Health Department. Medicine Kit, Vitamin, Calcium and Iron are being given to the beneficiaries stated above.

It has laid stressed for Social and Skill Development of Adolescence Girls. Further, it also has been helping and promoting Old Ages, Disables and Windows through National Social Assistance Programme.
