Champhai can be reached from Aizawl by traversing a distance of 194 kms. By Government and private buses, or sumo services which is plying day and night on all days except Sundays. Taxis can be hired on all days from any part of the State. A Helicopter service is available at Tuesday and two times at Thursday.

The nearest airport is Lengpui Airport in Aizawl which is located at an estimated distance of 186 km. It is the only airport in the state and is well linked with other cities in the country. From the airport, you can hire a car or a bus to reach the destination.
